War

Today my youth group had a discussion on war. We had some interesting questions, some that I can't figure out still. One of them was: If Jesus lived today, would He serve His country in the war in Iraq? I think probably not, but He would do all He could to help whoever He could. But I don't know. Another was: Does God want all our wars? (It was worded better than that, but I don't remember the exact wordage.) Like, did we fight the Vietnam War because He wanted us to? Or the Korean War, the World Wars, the Civil War, any of them? I don't know. Because I believe that everything we do has a purpose--His purpose. But I also believe that He gave us choices to make. I'm really not completely sure of any of this.
