Prom is Coming!

Prom is this Saturday! Hooray! I'm going with Seth, and I'm really excited because my class is hosting prom on the Mark Twain Riverboat. I'm a tad worried, 'cause the weather people are calling for rain that night. I'm just really hoping they're wrong. And I'm praying a lot. Anyway... my dress is lilac. It's my bridesmaid dress from Kendra's wedding. And I have the sexiest shoes ever! They are The Shoes. Man, they're great. They have a 4 or 5 inch heel and are shiny purple. They make me very happy. Here's what else makes me happy: Seth's tux has tails! So it's really formal, which is good, because my dress is elegant instead of frilly. Yay! Then my jewelry is pearls: 5 pearl bracelets that are elastic so they have no clasps, and two pearl headbands that I'm stacking on top of each other and putting around a pile of curls on my head. Oh, man, I'm excited. I'm gonna look so cute! Jessie is doing my nails and make-up, so that's good. She's good at making make-up look good without making it look like way much. Very natural and pretty. So yeah. I'm excited.
